Dr. Zuchowski is a physician certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry.  He has been engaged in the full-time practice of clinical psychiatry for over 10 years.  He has extensive treatment experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and in the private and public sectors.  Based in Eastern North Carolina, Dr. Zuchowski maintains active medical licenses in North Carolina, Nevada and California. 

Although currently practicing clinical psychiatry on a full-time basis, Dr. Zuchowski also is available for medico-legal consultations.  Primarily this involves working with attorneys when mental health issues arise in criminal or civil legal contexts.  Examples include:

Criminal responsibility (NGRI)
Mitigation of penalty
Psychiatric malpractice

Dr. Zuchowski has extensive testimony experience but also knows the importance of a strong written product and meeting deadlines.   He also has a nurse practitioner on staff who can assist with records review and can help keep costs down.
